Tinder is currently testing out a “share” button that lets you suggest someone’s Tinder profile to a friend.
Users will have the option to send profiles to a friend via text message, the friend will then have the opportunity to swipe “yes” or “no” on the profile, and wait for a match. The new feature will also assign profile links for each Tinder account, however once shared, the link will expire after five clicks or 72 hours.
Although the rollout hasn’t been fully implemented for all Tinder users, if you don’t like the sounds of the new add-on, you can simply make your profile un-shareable in Tinder’s settings.
